 West St. Louis County residents have an assortment of quality eating
establishments and shopping facilities "right around the corner." The
West St. Louis County area takes pride in its many excellent
restaurants that appeal to a broad range of tastes. The area offers
everything from fine dining at renowned restaurants to casual and
family dining.
Arrays of retail and service outlets are conveniently located
throughout the area. Over half of these shopping centers are situated
along Manchester Road. This five-lane roadway is considered the "main
street" of the West County area. It has everything from supermarkets to
discount stores and exclusive boutiques. Other convenient shopping
centers are found at strategic intersections throughout West County.
Additionally, a number of automobile dealerships are easily accessible
along this roadway.
Westfield Shopping Town is located on Manchester Road at I-270. This beautifully constructed mall
includes several large anchor stores, including Nordstrum's and
Famous Barr. Another Westfield Shopping
mall is Chesterfield Mall, located at Highway 40 and Clarkson Road. It
has four major department stores and more than 150 specialty stores. In
addition, many quality restaurants may be found both in the mall
itself, and in the area immediately adjacent to the mall. |
