| The West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit membership organization of businesses and professional people working together to promote the growth and expansion of commerce in the West St. Louis County area. The Chamber represents businesses and the community in eight cities, including Ballwin, Clarkson Valley, Ellisville, Manchester, Twin Oaks, Valley Park, Wildwood, Winchester, and unincorporated St. Louis County.
Membership in the chamber has many advantages. We offer members networking opportunities, cost-effective advertising, member-to-member discounts, referrals, and a voice in the community. The West St. Louis County Chamber also provides programs and services to both the business and residential communities. Some programs include a Leadership In Practice Scholarship, a mentoring program, and the collection of canned goods for the local food pantries. The chamber invites you to become a part of our growing organization and benefit from all your chamber has to offer. As a member of the chamber, your business receives many advantages and opportunities:
Networking
Multiply your business contacts and create additional sales opportunities. The Chamber offers networking opportunities through monthly luncheons, First Friday Coffees, and after hour forums. Plan to attend one of our upcoming events...and remember to bring plenty of business cards.
Your Voice in the Community:
The chamber serves as your voice in the community on local, state, and national issues as well as regional transportation concerns that have a potential impact on a business bottom line. The Government Affairs and Transportation Committee meets with local city and state officials and the Missouri Department of Transportation to monitor upcoming and current transportation issues. The chamber was instrumental in accelerating the widening of Clarkson and Manchester Road, as it exists today. Additionally, the committee has played a major role on the Highway 141 project, and continues to meet with the Missouri Department of Transportation to insure no further delays on the Highway 141 project.
Community Profile & Membership Directory
Increase awareness of your business. As a member of the chamber, your company automatically receives a free listing in the annual directory that is distributed to area residents and businesses. Your business is listed in three ways: alphabetically; by business classification; and by the representative's name.
Stay informed on current business issues from experts on a variety of topics that affect your organization. Educational seminars are for the advancement of our members and the community with speakers who are experts on the selected topics. Choose from half-day seminars or before-hours forums. The chamber offers seminars and workshops to develop the ever-changing needs of our businesses.
Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunities
All new members receive a free new member spotlight in the monthly newsletter, The Enterprise. Cost-effective advertising allows you to market your business at a low cost throughout the year. Sponsoring events, such as the General Membership Meeting Luncheons, gives members the opportunity to showcase their services and products.
