Wildwood: Brief City Overview

City of Wildwood

Wildwood, one of St. Louis County's newest and fastest growing cities, was incorporated in 1995. The City's 67 square miles of topography occupies the third largest territory of any other city in Missouri.

The major focal point of the City of Wildwood is the Town Center, an area of 770 acres between State Routes 100/109 and Manchester Road. The Town Center Plan incorporates mixed-use developments, neighborhoods, and an old-fashioned Main Street setting.

The City of Wildwood is building and planning for miles of roadside bike and pedestrian trails that will connect residential areas to schools, parks, and the Town Center. Wildwood has been designed to be predominantly residential in nature. The area includes single-family homes, apartments, and condominiums.

Bounded by the Missouri River and the City of Chesterfield, Wildwood is easily accessible to Interstates 44, 40/64, and 270.
