City of Winchester
Winchester officially became a City in 1957. Within the 0.235 square mile city limits, Winchester is a community nestled between the cities of Ballwin on the west and Manchester on the east. Hence the name Winchester merged the "Win" from Ballwin and "Chester" from Manchester.
The Commercial District and Reber Park complement this community. Reber Park is the center of Winchester's recreation. The volunteer Park Board sponsors a Summer Sports Program and offers residents various activities throughout the year.
