Some of the most important indicators of a school’s success cannot be measured. These successes include the hours spent by caring teachers carefully preparing individualized lessons, the life and social skills learned by students in the classroom and in extracurricular activities, and the dedication of parents and volunteers who give of their time to promote a quality learning environment. It is all these efforts that contribute to the quality of teaching in Rockwood and our students’ notable accomplishments.
The goal of our 2,800 employees continues to be a personalized education for our students within an innovative working environment. Our mission is to ensure that all students obtain the skills, abilities and attitudes necessary to be lifelong learners and productive citizens with integrity. Separate campuses for gifted students, early childhood programs and alternative high school education add to this culture of achievement.
